5 weird, random things

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a fun & relaxing weekend. My friend Jessica of Coco/Mingo tagged me about a week ago to list five weird + random facts about myself. I think, no I know, I could list a lot more but I'll spare you all. I hope you get a few laughs in and enjoy getting to know me more!
01. I am extremely claustrophobic. I hate it when people sit on my lap, corner me, tickle me while corning me, or even hug me for too long. I have been known to have mini panic attacks and even cry due to this. My husband just laughs.
02. Speaking of my husband, I have know him since we were in the sixth grade when I transferred to his school. He started crushing on me in the eighth grade, but I didn't take notice until the next year. We started dating in March of 2005 and have been inseparable ever since.
03. As a kid,  I would play in granulated sugar like it was sand and I slept with my The Little Mermaid VHS every night. In general, I was just a really strange child.
04. I have been told most of my life that I look like Audrey Hepburn. Also, Scarlett Johansson, Evageline Lilly & Rachel McAdams. It works in my favour no matter what because all these ladies are amazing.
05. I am a nail-bitter. It started as a nervous habit when I was younger; now, well I don't really have a reason. I try to make a conscious effort not to, but the only thing I have found to keep me from doing so is going to the nail salon for the gel nail polish. It lasts a good while so maybe I should make it a habit to go.
I tag these lovely people - Celestine of Java Aficionada, Kyla of Kyla is Inspired, Kory of Kory Woodard  & Jessica of Creative Index - but feel free to play along! What is one weird & random fact about you?

  1. I am totally a nail biter too! It's such a bad habit, but I can't seem to break it - I've never actually heard of gel polish before, but I'll keep that in mind. And thanks for tagging me! I'll definitely be answering this on my next post :)

    1. Definitely try the gel nail polish. It lasts (for me) around 3 weeks! It's great. Can't wait to read your facts :)

  3. Oh man, claustrophobia--I so know how that feels! I wouldn't consider myself one, but sometimes it just overwhelms me. I also have this weird thing randomly where I become paralyzed in my sleep/as I wake up or fall asleep--my mind tells my body to move and I can't, and I feel like I'm suffocating because I can't take a deep breath. SO scary haha! Thankfully it's not permanent....

So cute that your hubby and you met so long ago! I love hearing high school sweetheart success stories :) Enjoyed getting to know you more!

  6. I'm a nail biter when I don't have nail polish on. I don't really it but sometimes I'll do my nails so I can let them grow haha

  8. Posts like this are a great way to get to know a blogger! So sweet that you and your husband are sweethearts since high school (or middle school for him!). The Little Mermaid was my favorite Disney movie as a kid, and the first one I saw in a theater - but sleeping with the VHS?? Can't say I ever did that!
