1st annual halloween party
This past Saturday, Stephen and I attended our first Halloween party as a married couple! It was hosted by our friends Natalie and Drew in their new home. Around twenty or so people showed up in costumes ranging from witches and vampires to Woody and Jessie from Toy Story and Driver from Drive. I waited till the last minute per usual so I ended up wearing my cat onesie. Why yes, I do have a cat onesie complete with a hood and tail. It was a Christmas present from my husband all the way from Japan. (Side note: One thing many people don't know about me is I have quite the obsession with the Japanese culture. That's another story.)
The party consisted of good food, bubbly drinks (we made apple cider sangria!), lots of laughter, and of course, a bonfire. We are usually not the party-going type but I am really glad we went. It was nice being able to relax and catch up with old friends! As for Halloween day, we will most likely be staying in greeting any little trick-or-treaters we get. Do you have any special Halloween plans or do you plan on staying in like us?
Sounds like a cozy Halloween party c:

You should definitely make some! It is delicious :)
DeleteLooks like you had a wonderful time. I love low key parties like that where everyone can relax and hold conversations without the need to heal over the loud music :) Love the mummy cookies!
