foodie 05: making biscuits

During our time in Nashville, we ate a lot of really good food. That's basically all we did, and we didn't even put a dent into the amount of restaurants Nashville has to offer. For breakfast on Saturday, we decided to take it easy and stay in. Chloe suggested we make these southern biscuits by Alton Brown ( a culinary genius and one of our idols ). They are easy, rustic, and most of all delicious. We served ours with butter and homemade strawberry jam alongside an aeropressed cup of coffee. We were too busy stuffing our faces for me to take photos of them out of the oven, but no apologies here. Be sure to make these. They take little time and your taste buds, stomach, and heart will thank you afterwards.

  1. Oooh, these look so good! I'm also a big Alton Brown fan :) I must try these!

    1. You must! Have you seen AB's new show, Cutthroat Kitchen? It's not Good Eats, but it's still good.
