dress your desktop: take it easy

This weekend was all about taking it easy. Thankfully, we did not have a lot on our calendar and could do what we wanted with our time. The unfortunate part is the kids I nanny got me sick. While I spent most of my time either in bed or on the couch sipping on ginger ale, I had a good weekend. I caught up on my favourite TV shows, got lunch with some good friends, did laundry & got my nails done for the holidays. I think it was my body telling me to take it easy. It was telling me to slow down and take time for myself. That's something we all need to remember especially with the holidays come up. Feel free to download & enjoy below!

Happy Friday everyone! This week has been a long one and I am beyond excited the weekend is almost here. There are some wonderful things in the works for Lucky Number Seven and I am here to give you a little glimpse.

Now, I have done some design work in the past, but nothing recently. Until now! I am working with a fellow blogger and friend on her upcoming business venture - everything from the logo to the website to her branding materials. I am over-the-moon excited! I have been wanting to get back into design and she gave me the perfect opportunity. So if you are in the need for any design work, just drop me an email. I'd love to work with you on making your dreams become reality!

Our aim for this project is to remain simple, clean & natural but adding a hint of whimsy here and there. We are going with tones inspired by nature - greens, golds, blues. This of course is right up my alley. I knew from the beginning we were the perfect match. The project started a little bumpy - it just didn't feel like her. So we started with a clean slate and now everything is going smoothly. I am loving everything we've created so far this round. It just feels right. 

I cannot wait to reveal the results with you guys. We are hoping to have everything completed and launched by the beginning of January so be on the lookout! Have a wonderful weekend!

let's get coffee, pt. 3

I have really enjoyed getting to know you all through this little series! It seems you all enjoy it too because it has become very popular which makes me super happy. So I thought I would continue it. Here's to another round of coffee!

01. Not surprised, Daydreaming by Paramore with Figure 8 by Ellie Goulding coming in a close second. 

02.  Take each day as it comes.

03. Sadly, I can't eat ice cream often because it upsets my stomach. However when I do, it has to be pistachio. Hands down, the best. It is a nice balance of sweet and salty which is right up my alley.

04. I am a mixed drink kind of girl! I hate beer and can't seem to acquire a taste for wine. Give me a Georgia Sweet Iced Tea and I am good to go! 

05. Artistic, feisty, introverted, honest & loyal. Somehow anytime I ask a friend to describe me, feisty always makes it on the list ;)
